G-Slide Melody written as a complete song. Lyrics were written a few years later, then given to the band Ancient O. Named for its riff, G-slide referred to the part in the song where you slide the G chord up the neck. Its the way I remembered the riff before the lyrics.Lyrics written about a fading will, the song not only was the first song completed by Brian, but one of the bands Ancient O first learned song. It was The only song the band did a video for before the break up.
Only Die Inspired by a crush in my youth, quickly became the most well known love song Ive written to date.

They Came From The Mountains Written as a poem in science class, 1988 this song was the first of its kind, given the twice as fast tempo and inspired by a concept from a movie "Heavy Metal" in witch an army comes to rip a peaceful town apart for its goods. The first "story type" song Ive ever written. Made an video years Later using original recording in 94

Darking Sins written with Chris for Black Rabbit. The first and most popular Black Rabbit song written. Chris wrote the first set of lyrics, I wrote the music and 2nd set. Played the song for years. Darking Sins was the trade song for the band. The so called #1 single you might say

Making Rain making rain was written earlier in the list of songs, wasn't until the band Ancient O began to play it did the most popular guitar riff became well known. I never forget being introduced to a stranger and the first thing they said was " so your the one who wrote the famous Making rain"
Symphony trying to do it up, and write a guitar song other guitar players could appreciate, I wrote a riff and referred to it a E-slide. Wasn't until I wrote lyrics about being a different kind of guy did the song take off. I named it for its readiness to be preformed by a full on symphony. Honestly, I wont feel like the song is done till it is.
Ceramic Marbles The song was written years back. A heavy dark sound with off timed riffs, Ceramic Marbles is about feeling you have a devil on each shoulder. Have tried many times to teach the song to others with no luck so far.
That Route The biggest hit for Ancient Orange. About choosing your path in a vindictive relationship. The song closed most shows. Used as the headliner song for the battle of the bands CD, sadly it sounded much better live. The studio version strangely sucked all the life out of the song. Heavy thump type song with fast leads and crazy hook.
Waited Down written about taking on the weight of a cheating spouse. I felt like it was the 2nd most popular song the band did. Always requested, sometimes several times during one gig. It was the flip side to our " That Route" single and was the other song submitted to the Battle of the bands Album.
The Door Hard and heavy, warm up song for the band. Very intense song about partying and being paranoid about the outside.
Softly for your word Inspired by blink 182s style, this was a fill in song that soon became its own. Written about being in a lonely relationship.
Back Again Blending in to back again, the song is kinda a branch of the door. Same tempo and chords, used as a fill song if we needed to fill time at a gig. Hard and heavy, it does stand on its own.
Run From the Devil Hit hard heavy song written for exclusively Ancient Orange
Dis incorporated Forgotten song with a heavy sound. Written for the band as a substitute for Ceramic Marbles, this song still in its early stage when the band broke up in 2002.
Why so long This is the other song that was being worked on as the band broke up. Never really heard, the song never became established.
Little Bit Invited to an open mic at a coffee shop, Little bit was written just to wow other guitar players. I wanted to do something that couldn't easily be mocked. The song is in B7 and has a hard to fake strumming pattern. Lyrics are about being fed up with someone.
Almost Ancient this acoustic song was written about the bands break up. Its very blunt and was lost for the longest time.Uses odd chords and is fairly slow and sad sounding.2003
This Development The first song I ever wrote with an organ base. Its a very Mellon Collie type song about guilt. Always intended it to go on the Wake album.
Track 18 song about long distance relationship, track 18 was a completed song done all in one day. Using a multi Track, the setting for the best mix ended up being the name of the track, 18. Very great sounding song even still. Up beat and clear. This song stands alone.

YouTube You (Comedy) Make as a funny video for YouTube about YouTube. this song was just a goof, a reason to post something funny. Must see it. " I check the E-mail then I go to YouTube and I stay there till I get Dead"
Jesus My friends wife does a Christian Radio show and needed some royalty free music to play at the beginning and during her show. I wrote the up beat song just for that reason and presented several versions of it to her. Lyrics are Christian based and has allot of harmonizing vocals in it along with a very well written lead guitar solo. 2008
Side of Me First song out of five that I produced with my son Keith. "Side of me" became our warm up song with heavy Guitar change and loud lyrics about loosing control
With Yours Produced with Keith this was the take away my pain type song that has kinda a hidden meaning behind it. The Video was produced using lost footage of an old amusement park that was torn down in our area in 1979 after almost 90 years of service.
A day with money Produced with Keith (one of the five songs) this song has a great hook. Named more for the feeling, the song has a simple video so you can concentrate on the songs lyrics better. Cry out type song.
Numb from dumb My favorite out of Keiths and I's five. Numb from dumb is about being Numb from all the stupid stuff and people around me. The Video is the only one featured us playing together in the studio. 2009

Tainted Water First time trying a new program running all my riffs in samples, Tainted Water came out sounding clean. Using footage from Life after People, the video keeps a dark confusion state.
